I'm working on a private project. Images and graphics are the weapons I'm using to explore the various facets of life and society. This blog is also some sort of a troika. I have collected the images and graphics from three blogs that I used to maintain separately; all of them on the Blogspot. So delighted to tell you that I can serve the three different delicacies while you relish them at just one place now.

Right Hand Rules was conceived as a concept blog, following the line of a concept album like those of a psychedelic collection by Pink Floyd. The address has changed but the theme remains the same. On the computer, we have been using the scroller from top to bottom (up and down) all along; in this section you have to move it from left to right. Believe me, it's fun!

Another feather on my blogging nest, Numit Kappa showcases the graphic designing stuffs. Most of the items have been created for the prose and poetry I wrote on my main blog. Numit Kappa loosely means ‘shooting the sun’ in Manipuri. It is one of the early literary works in Meiteilon (Manipuri). Basically an allegory, it's a story with a strong political overtone, nonetheless having a universal theme: struggle for power, misery of the common people, tyranny and so on.

However, the story has nothing to do with these images. I have taken the name to conceptualise myself connecting to my root, to my true identity. I care for these things because I belong to a place so pathetic that an even more pathetic person like me needs to show some strong concern. Ours is a land where a ball of cotton is more expensive than a life, where the rivers flow swiftly with blood, where the air smells of dead animals, and where the azure skies play hide and seek with the crimson clouds. If you want to know the place I'm talking about, simply search on Google 'blood', 'killing', 'drugs', 'shits'--prefixed with Manipur.

Taking the best out of ordinary things through a digital camera... I love photography; yeah, you hear these words telling yourselves and many a time from your friends, and read it on so many pages. But I love it for the sake of it. I own no SLR but a simple and cheap digital Nikon camera, nor I go around the town with a shooting machine on my neck. However, an impulsive desire drives me to shoot at sight anything that captures my attention. In a way, I call it a passive rage.

Abstract art was my first love, so you can find a tinge of unrealism in many of my shots. All along what I have tried is to add some life to the object of my creation. So here I am, with little technical expertise but with a passion to shoot what thrills me.
